Kurdea Lyon – Oral Health Director

Kurdea Lyon graduated from Northeastern University with a Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs for Drugs, Biologics, and Medical Devices and is currently pursuing a career in the Biotechnology industry in the greater Boston area. While attending Northeastern University, Kurdea became the first Patient Navigator at Boston Children’s Hospital where she helped develop the program to reduce healthcare disparities and improve healthcare outcomes for vulnerable populations. Her passion for global health and advocacy makes her a key asset to the JC Hispaniola Organization. Kurdea has participated in several medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and her role in the medical mission team include providing Dental education, triaging patients, recruiting volunteers and assisting with coordinating the medical mission trips. “Attending medical missions to the Dominican Republic is a rewarding experience and every year I am truly blessed with the opportunity to provide healthcare and supply the families with basic needs. I encourage everyone to help by either volunteering or donating as God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another”.
