The Organization is a voluntary health and welfare organization whose mission is to help alleviate human suffering, improve the quality and delivery of health care and disaster relief services, improve nutrition and encourage literacy in the island of Hispaniola, shared by the nations of the Dominican Republic and Haiti

The J.C. Hispaniola Fund, Inc. a non-profit, non political 501 (c) (3) organization founded in 1998 by Jean Charles, a native of Haiti, who was moved by the devastation left in the wake of Hurricane Georges to mount a disaster relief effort to help the people of Hispaniola, and he has been at it since then.

The organization has been active in the bateyes in the East Cost of the Dominican Republic where many Haitian and Dominican of Haitian descent live under deplorable conditions. We conduct health fairs where adults, children and women receive free consultation and medicines and sanitary products.
